By MTC Student Ambassador, Tammy Shawver:
Summer quarter is rolling right along, and at a fast pace. The quarter is condensed into seven weeks, and the deadlines come much closer together. It’s hard to believe the quarter is half over, it seems like we should just be getting started. This summer has been hectic, balancing family, school, and still trying to fit in all the summertime fun is a challenge. All of my classes are online this quarter, which makes it much easier to plan my schedule and not miss out on anything. I made Dean’s List each quarter last year, and carried a 4.0 spring quarter, so I’ve set the bar high for next year, I’m hoping I can continue to maintain the same grades throughout my second year.
I’m ready for a long break between quarters, fall will bring a heavy course load and a couple of my toughest classes. Most of the Student Ambassadors took the summer off, but Roxy and I are still spending time at various activities. The Ambassador program has been a great experience, I miss seeing Erin and Kacy and Elizabeth. Fall will bring three new Ambassadors, and I think they will be a great fit for our little group. Be sure to stop us and introduce yourself when you see us around campus!
